John’s classic hairstyle from the movie Grease inspired a generation of youngsters to adopt a similar look, and we can’t deny, it is fashionable! It wasn’t a bad look for people to choose for that period, but now we’re not too sure.
These days the actor can be seen with no hair at all, and we don’t know what spurred him on to make such a random choice. At least it’s better than being caught with a greasy head of hair that makes you look like you came out of a ’70s movie.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
When we think about The Rock nowadays, we only have one image in our heads. He is a big, buff, bald-headed man that everyone loves. Imagining Dwayne Johnson with a head full of hair just sounds really weird.
Back when The Rock did have his hair, he actually kind of looked like an off-brand Hercules. In our opinion, Dwayne Johnson looks a lot better without his hair, and he can also pull off a little goatee with that.
Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson is a great actor who basically does not age. No matter the time and the decade you look him up, he looks basically just the same in almost every movie of his that you watch.
Yes, that goes for him with and without hair. Back in 1994, when he actually had hair on his head, he looked just the same as he looks now with a bald head. Nick Fury would be incomplete without that magnificent bald head!
Jason Statham
If you are someone who has watched the movie Revolver from 2005, then you would be very confused at seeing Jason Statham in the movie. You might not even recognize that it is him if you did not see him with a head full of hair before. He looks like a completely different person.
However, he is still the same old Hitman who is famous for being bald and also being a dashing and handsome man at that as well. Jason Statham and hair would simply not go together!
Jon Cryer
If you remember the famous romantic/comedy movie Pretty in Pink, you would most likely remember how handsome and stunning Jon Cryer looked there. Especially his hair, it was nothing short of just amazing and beautiful. Unfortunately, he and his hair had a falling out!
If you take a look at Jon Cryer now, you will barely even recognize him anymore. At least what he lost from his head, he made up for with a beard. Yep, that’s right, he somehow grew quite a bit of facial hair after losing the hair on his head.
Woody Harrelson
Taking a look at Woody Harrelson from back in 1986, he does not look like the anti-hero with the villainous look. Even though that is the role he is famous for playing now, back when he had hair on his head, he looked more like a ladies' charmer and the protagonist of a romantic movie.
With his bald head now, he looks more suited for the roles that he has been playing lately. He finally looks more like a guy who would be crazy enough to go hunt zombies.
Vin Diesel
If you got to know him from the Fast and Furious movie series, then looking at Diesel from the 2006 movie, Find Me Guilty, is going to make your jaw drop.
He just looks so different that it seems like he is a different person. The photo almost looks photoshopped. It is very hard to imagine Vin Diesel with anything but a bald head but the man owned it. Hats literally off to this guy.
Terry Crews
The former football linebacker and also the currently loved actor looked very different back when he had a head full of hair. We are not entirely sure what it is, but maybe it is the flat bangs buzz cut that he used to have. It just does not feel quite right at all.
However, it's the him with the bald head that we all love and adore! The beautiful smile and that amazing goatee with the bald head just melt our hearts.
Kevin James
If you remember the popular sitcom The Kings of Queens, you would likely also remember Kevin James as James from the series. He was known for his close-cropped cut short hair. However, when James appeared in the Netflix comedy from 2021, The Crew, he came in with a completely new look.
He debuted in The Crew with a new baldheaded look. Not that he looked bad, though, the look actually fit him really well. Quite surprising that fans now compare him with an empty football field.
J.K Simmons
If you are to look into old pictures of J.K Simmons, you will easily find out that it is near impossible to find a picture of him when he used to have hair. That is, without somehow being able to get into his yearbook.
Most of us have only ever seen him bald. And we can say one thing for certain about his bald look, we think he owns it. But you do have to admit he looked great when he had hair as well.
Micheal Keaton
Remember Micheal Keaton with a head that is full of hair? Pictures from his past reveal that he did, indeed, used to have hair. We admit that he did look quite nice.
But we personally think, and you'll have to agree, that Micheal Keaton does a much better job with a bald look. It brings out a certain boldness (pun intended) and makes him look much cooler. That is definitely his look. Reminds us of a less muscular Popeye.
Stanley Tucci
You might easily recall Stanley Tucci having a few bits of hair left on his head from the first Captain America movie. Even when he still had a little wisp of hair floating on his head, you could easily see the scalp under the hair. This tells you that it is a head that was always meant to go bald.
If you look at the bald Stanley now, it actually kind of fits his look. Paired with the glasses, it definitely does complete his look in a very stylish way. The hairless hairdo gives the villain look a better edge.
Laurence Fishburne
Take a look back at the fashion history of Laurence Fishburne. You will find out that he tried almost every possible look that you can imagine, both with his facial hair and beard. Back then it was like he couldn't part with his comb.
However, one of his looks that you might be quite unfamiliar with is the one where he actually has hair. Yeah, hard to believe that even Fishburne used to be someone who had a head full of hair. This is mostly because Fishburne was already bald in 2001.
Channing Tatum
Looking at Channing Tatum, everyone has to admit that he is a guy who looks handsome in whatever look he decides to go with. He looks amazing with a head full of hair that is styled up in the front, and he looks great without any hair on his head as well.
This might be a topic that is up for debate, but in our opinion, Channing Tatum actually looks a lot more handsome with a clean shave and a bald head. The guy's hair-do puts other hairless guys at ease. You don't need hair to look hot!
John Malkovich
Taking a look at John Malkovich back in 1985, he had a head full of nice and long hair, but you could easily still see the receding hairline on his forehead. With his head full of hair, it does look quite off in some way.
It seems that John Malkovich has a thing for wearing scarves around his neck. Leaving out the scarf, we have to admit that Malkovich looks a lot better with a baldhead instead. Although we have to admit he lost his sexy professor look.
Steve Harvey
When you go back to the year 2000 and take a look at Steve Harvey from back then. He had his facial hair match up with his cropped and clean-cut look. But looking at Steve Harvey now with all his hair gone, he looks more like the guy we all know and are familiar with.
The host of the show Family Feud might have lost all the hair on his head, but the game of his thick stache is still going quite strong! It's a shame the Atlantic Hurricane blew his toupee right off!
Mark Strong
Mark Strong is a well-known actor these days with his shiny head making an appearance in the Kingsman series of films. The actor has also transitioned into playing comic book roles, as we can see through his role of Dr. Sivana in Shazam.
He hasn't always had such an empty piece of real estate on his head, as we can see from his role in the imitation game. We can't say we're exactly too mad about his decision to go bald, seeing how he looks with a head full of hair.
John Travolta
John's classic hairstyle from the movie Grease inspired a generation of youngsters to adopt a similar look, and we can't deny, it is fashionable! It wasn't a bad look for people to choose for that period, but now we're not too sure.
These days the actor can be seen with no hair at all, and we don't know what spurred him on to make such a random choice. At least it's better than being caught with a greasy head of hair that makes you look like you came out of a '70s movie.
Billy Joel
The piano man himself had a healthy amount of hair back in the 80s and past photos definitely show us how thick and dark it used to be. A great look for a star of past times but definitely not something you want to try now unless you want to get bullied.
Right now, the effects of time have taken place, and the singer prefers a shiny yet bald look. Despite the lack of hair, he still manages to look the part of a celebrity due to his facial hair, which he keeps trimmed.
Howie Mandel
The mullet is a hairstyle we all loved to hate, and it was a very famous look for the 80s and 90s. It has even made a comeback today, with many teens trying a more modern version of the look, which looks better than it did thirty years ago.
Howie also rocked the look in his younger days, but currently, he shines on stage as bright as his bald head. The decision to go bald mainly stemmed from his battles against anxiety and OCD. Whatever works to keep his psyche in check. That being said, dear gen Y, no mullets!
Taye Diggs
When it comes to Taye Diggs, we're not sure what gets our attention more: his bright smile or his bright bald head! However, he wasn't always bald, as we can see from previous pictures where he used to have a fuzzy hairstyle.
That all changed when he saw how much hair he was losing, and thankfully he decided that going bald would be better than having a mess on his head. After seeing how he looks right now, he definitely went in the right direction when he chose to get rid of his hair.
Ben Kingsley
Ben Kingsley, while not having hair that reached all the way to his forehead, still had enough to make the look work even if it left his forehead wide open. It wouldn't be until his role in the movie Gandhi that he would try something a bit different than what he was used to.
Required to go bald, the actor didn't hesitate to do so and stuck with the look after taking a liking to it. He prefers his iconic look of a bald head with facial hair, and we probably wouldn't recognize him these days if he started growing hair on his head again.
Billy Zane
Looking great with a head of messy, black hair is an art that we all wish we could pull off. Sadly, wishes don't come true most of the time. Billy Zane used to pull off that hairstyle perfectly!
After choosing to go bald, he looks different but still great. He traded his young look for a more mature image. His decision to go bald in the 90s is definitely one of the best decisions the actor has ever made. Go bald and make your acting dreams come true!
Sean Connery
You can't be as smooth as 007 without a similar hairstyle that's as suave as the man himself. Sean Connery definitely pulled it off. The classy and neat hairstyle definitely made all the ladies swoon, and we're pretty sure it did the same for some men too!
Growing older, Sean is still a smooth actor with an even smoother bald head. Matching it with a full beard, the actor definitely knows how to keep his head fashionable with the current times.
Damon Wayans
Damon Wayans definitely looks like he hasn't aged a bit over the years, but one thing did change, and that's his hair. Before his role in Major Payne, the actor could still be seen as having a healthy amount of rich and thick hair.
As he grew older, he kept the hot summer boy look, but he made a decision to go hairless, which definitely wasn't a bad idea. It even inspired his son to adopt a similar look every now and then.
Jonathan Banks
There were many actors with the wrong hairstyle in the 80s, and sad to say, Jonathan Banks falls into the category. Not to say he's a bad-looking guy, but what's up with his hairstyle in Beverly Hills Cops? It left his forehead wide open!
Thankfully the actor chose to go bald as he grew in age, and we're not sure he would have been as memorable in Breaking Bad if he still had his hair. He keeps it neat and clean and adds a touch of a trimmed beard.
Alan Arkin
As a young man, Alan Arkin wasn't too bad looking, as we can see from past pictures. The academy award winner used to sport a head of black hair during his younger days, while filming movies like Catch-22. We wouldn't be disappointed if he could bring the look back.
The actor would follow the same trend as others, going for a smoother look as he aged. This look helped him earn more roles in future movies playing mature characters.
Michael Jordan
If you don't know the name Michael Jordan, then you probably live somewhere that isn't named planet earth. The legendary basketball player had a pretty iconic head of hair in his younger days when he played on his university team in North Carolina.
Michael would later transition into an even more iconic hairstyle after getting drafted by the Chicago Bulls. His bald head is definitely one of the most recognizable shiny surfaces amongst basketball fans.
James Spader
We all recognize James Spader as someone who is a talented actor with a bald head. Most notably he was seen in the series The Blacklist. But, things weren't always like this, and looking back at his younger days, you might not even recognize him.
Featuring a head full of long blonde hair, the actor definitely fit the pretty boy archetype of the '80s and '90s. Sadly this phase ended when he started losing hair in the front, but still, his bald look isn't bad! One thing's for sure, Red's mystery heirs won't fight for his bald head.
Ed Harris
Ed never had thick hair but what he had was always enough to keep him satisfied. He had some thin hair on top, with a healthy amount on the sides.
These days the actor opts for the more recognizable bald look that he has been known for. It all started after his remaining hair started thinning out, after which he decided to go bald (on top) instead of keeping it fuzzy. At least he has one thing going for him and that's his mystical blue eyes.
Robert Duvall
Like many young actors, Robert Duvall had a good amount of hair in his rookie days but nothing lasts forever. He had a satisfying amount of hair up until the 70s hit.
He needed his hair to play his part in the iconic movie, The Godfather, but that was remedied with a toupee. Currently, we can see him going bald on top with some hair remaining around the sides of his head. He could probably rock the Donald Trump hairdo.
Michael Chiklis
The American Horror Story actor had a pretty handsome head of hair in the 80s, which definitely made him look better at the time. It fit the style of the period, making him look younger than he actually was.
As the years went by, we had to say adios to that beautiful hair after the actor decided he would much rather reflect the sunshine off of his head. Despite the loss, we can say how the look would help him play more mature characters in future movies.
Aaron Paul
There are few actors who can rock a short hairstyle as well as Aaron Paul himself, and we don't know how comfortable we'd be seeing him in a longer hairstyle. The Breaking Bad star thankfully prefers to keep it short on top.
Aaron is quick to trim the top off whenever it gets too long and prefers a look that makes him appear neat and clean. This is an actor that definitely does justice to the bald lifestyle seeing as this is how he usually appears. Now the question is, hot or not?
Jerry Doyle
You might know Jerry Doyle from the Babylon series of films, but when you go back in time, you'll see he always wasn't bald. During his days playing Michael Garibaldi on Babylon 5, he still had some hair on top even though it had started to thin out on the front.
There are some who argue that Doyle was the first actor who made the bald hairstyle a fashionable look. He was one of the first to go for the look even before the likes of megastars such as Bruce Willis. Ironically, his voice-over character Captain Simian had the hair of a cool teen rockstar.
Telly Savalas
The James Bond actor is recognizable to anyone who has watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service, where he played the movie's antagonist. Featuring a mostly bald hairstyle throughout his career, the actor wasn't always lacking in hair.
In his younger days, he preferred a full head of hair that he would keep slicked back, fitting a gentlemanly look. We're not sure what looks better, Savalas with a bald head or Savalas with his hair slicked back? Both look great. Yet, Bond actors are meant to be bald. They think their hair off!
Sir Anthony Hopkins
No bald list is complete without an appearance from the original Hannibal Lector himself. Sir Anthony Hopkins, The Silence of The Lambs star himself, features one of the most iconic bald heads in all of Hollywood.
He isn't always bald, though, as he can sport a long hairstyle even at an old age. Just look up any photo from his portrayal as Odin in the MCU, and you'll find proof of the actor rocking both a long hairstyle and a bald look.
Tom Hardy
The British actor is pretty well known for his many roles in movies like Warrior and his role as Eddy Brock in Venom and its sequel. Tom isn't always carrying a full head of hair as we can see through some of his roles.
For his role as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and Al Capone in Fonzo, Tom has gone bald twice to portray a character. After seeing how he looks as a bald guy, we definitely miss how he looked carrying a full head of hair. Is it true that Tom's career shines when his head shines?
Matt Damon
Matt is one of the most recognizable stars out there to the point where people mistakenly identify other celebrities as him. The actor can always be seen with a short hairstyle that never grows too long, and it's safe to say that's how he likes it.
Despite his love for his short hair, there have been times when he went bald, including his role in the 2012 movie Elysium. We don't know about you, but we definitely wouldn't be excited seeing him going back to a bald hairstyle or lack of hairstyle. Cringe.
Kelly Slater
Kelly is an individual who definitely fits the pretty boy stereotype, especially in his younger days when he went about with a long hairstyle. We miss it because of how well it suited him, but we bet that hair so long often gets in your eyes.
These days he can be seen with a bald head which makes him look more mature than when he was younger. This, added with the passage of time and a light stubble all still make a handsome face for most people to gawk at.
Adam Levine
The famous singer and The Voice judge has been a pretty well-known face throughout the early 2000s and even till now. He's always featured a pretty short hairstyle throughout his career.
In 2016 he decided to go all the way and cut it all off; despite going bald, he still manages to look hunky. Adam would later go through more phases of short hair, but if he wanted to go bald again, we aren't against it. Maybe he knows how to put his testosterone to better use.
Alexander Skarsgård
The tall swede actor is a well-known face amongst fans of Zoolander and Big Little Lies. We already what he would look like with long flowing hair due to his portrayal of the titular character in The Legend Of Tarzan.
He would later cut off his hair, going bald for his role in Big Little Lies where he played the role of an abusive husband. Keeping it empty on the top, the actor still had a hefty amount of hair around the sides and back, and we wonder where else.
Marlon Brando
Marlon Brando, who sadly isn't around anymore, was considered one of the most influential actors during his time consisting of a career spanning six decades long. Growing with age, the actor started going bald on top, although retaining hair around his head.
As a young man, Marlon was a handsome individual with a healthy amount of hair, as seen in his many previous roles from his younger days. The Godfather actor has made his mark as one of the most iconic actors in Hollywood. This one one dude whose fans cried after he lost his hair.
James Franco
James Franco is a pretty chill guy, and most of his roles have him playing characters who still have their hair. This all changed when Franco got the opportunity to play the character of Vikar in Zeroville, which mainly got negative reviews.
Franco had to go bald with a tattoo on the back of his head that looked pretty awful for his role. Combine that with a small mustache, and you have yourself a look you'd rather not see James Franco himself adopting in real life. You'd rather date Shrek.
Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis is a famous actor we all know and love. Back in 1987, Willis had a nice head full of hair, but as years went by, time wasn't in his favor. The movie star had a completely different look when his head was full of hair.
Even though he looked great and handsome back then, it seems to us that Willis was made for a bald head look. He just looks more like himself with his head shaved. He looks a lot more dashing and handsome as well.
Jonah Hill
Jonah Hill is an actor known for his many comedic roles in movies such as 21 Jump Street, and This Is The End. Despite his roles, Jonah has always had a set of handsome curls on top of his head, which suits him perfectly.
After switching to a healthier lifestyle, Jonah would go bald for a short while and despite the loss of his beautiful curls, the lack of hair presents a more mature image. This image is boosted even more when you see him with a trimmed beard which he keeps very short. You see kids, it's not about losing hair, it's about getting more head.
Brian Cranston
It seems like Aaron Paul isn't the only Breaking Bad actor who can look good with a bald head. To maintain the image of Walter White, Brian had to cut off all of his hair and go bald and thankfully, the actor managed to pull off the look.
We're not denying how good he looks. Still, according to the actor, it wasn't always a comfortable experience staying bald with the sun shining down on that majestic head. This led to him putting on the Heisenberg hat to portray his character.
Charlize Theron
The tall blonde has always been seen with a head full of long blonde hair, that is until her role in Mad Max: Fury Road. For her role as the wild Furiosa, Charlize was required to maintain a shaved head which definitely did nothing to hinder her looks.
This suited her character fine, and it was the first time that fans of the actress had seen her going the bald route to play any of her characters. Seeing how great she looked, many fans would definitely cheer her on if she went bald again. That being said, do not shave unless you're a Charlize Theron.
Hugh Jackman
Amongst all the celebrities to go bald, Hugh Jackman might definitely be one of the most random ones to go through such a decision. The Australian actor, widely known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men movies, has always been seen with short to often long lengths of hair.
For his role in 2015's Pan as Blackbeard, Jackman would opt for a shiny head to play the character of the pirate. He maintained his baldness with a black mustache and beard which brought out a weird yet funny look on the actor. It's safe to assume there are no Pan fanatics here.
Cate Blanchett
Female celebrities going bald and managing to look good is a dime a dozen, but Cate Blanchett definitely falls into the category. Considering how the actress mainly appears in roles with long hair, seeing her in this look was definitely a nice change of pace.
The actress went bald two years before her role in the 2002 movie Heaven, and as we can see from past photos, there's nothing she regretted about the role. If she opts to make it a more permanent hairstyle, we'd definitely be up for cheering her on. What is up with women acing the bald look and men resembling Homer Simpson?
Jake Gyllenhaal
We're used to seeing Jake's lovely brown locks and beard combos in many of his movie appearances, including films like Nightcrawler and Far From Home. Imagine our surprise when we saw the actor shaving off all of his hair for not one but two of his movies.
The first time he went bald was in 2012's End Of Watch, and the second time was in 2015's Southpaw. It's definitely not a bad look on the guy, but we'd much rather see him with all his hair intact. We'd rather write poems about his beautiful crisp black hair.
Shia Labeouf
The Transformers star has maintained a very short amount of brown hair throughout his younger days as an actor. These days he has even grown out a beard and mustache, transitioning to a more mature image than what used to be known for as a youngster.
The actor went bald shortly during the 72nd Venice Film Festival in 2015, and the fresh look suited him just fine. That wasn't all he cut off as he even got rid of his beard and mustache, baring his full face to the cameras. Someone get this guy an Emmy.
James McAvoy
The X-Men star initially had all his hair intact when he played the role of a young Charles Xavier during the first few X-Men prequels. As the series continued throughout the years, the characters grew older, which required the actors to change in appearance.
To keep the accuracy of his role as Xavier in X-Men, James went bald, shaving off all of his hair just like his character in the comics. It wasn't a bad decision as, despite the loss of his hair, the bald look suited him well. This is what you call adapting to the book!
Chris Pine
Most celebrities going bald are either required to do so because of a role or because they have experienced hair loss. Then you have actors such as Chris Pine who'd rather make decisions without any thought and regrets.
The actor went bald in 2017, and not surprisingly, he looks just as handsome without his usual fluffy hair. Turns out he was just bored and had nothing to do, and he suddenly had the urge to go bald and actually went through with it. Better than dyeing it pink.
David Beckham
One of the most famous football players around, Beckham has had quite a successful career throughout his many years on the field. Football players have been known to keep in touch with the latest hair trends, with Beckham not being an exception to the rule.
That is until 2000 when Beckham was still moody about his loss in the 1998 world cup when he decided to go bald. Needed that Ballon d'Or look for himself. The most astounding fact is that it took $500 to get a haircut you could do by yourself at home.
Kristen Stewart
The Twilight star and Charlie's Angels actress has had an interesting life following her success with her hair changing to the trends. This followed through 2017 when she shaved her hair off for her role in the 2017 movie underwater.
Kristen made an appearance in the movie with a bald yet fuzzy blonde hairstyle and somehow, the actress managed to make it work. She liked it so much that she would later choose it as a hairstyle in real life. Those beautiful dark Bella Swan hair, gone.
Justin Timberlake
The pop sensation has definitely made his mark as one of the most talented performers of all time and it's easy to see why. Known for his beautiful hair and good looks, the actor has always maintained a stylish head full of hair throughout the years.
In the year 2001, the singer shaved off all of his hair and seemed to like the look enough to go back to it every now and then. He's had his look so long that people have started to associate it as a signature hairstyle of his.
Chris Hemsworth
Chris, although having a full head of beautiful long locks mainly for his role as Thor in the MCU, hasn't always preferred to keep it so long. Thor having long hair in the comics has made it a necessity for Hemsworth himself to carry the same long locks.
In the past, it was a different choice for Hemsworth as he preferred to keep it very short during his younger days. Long or short, there isn't anything that can disrupt the handsomeness portrayed on his face. Have no fear if your a Hemsworth.
Natalie Portman
Professional celebrities will oftentimes go to great lengths to deliver a great performance on screen. Natalie Portman surely fits the bill considering what she was willing to do to look the part for her role in the movie V For Vendetta.
In 2005 she shaved her hair entirely, and the look we ended up seeing was a definite far cry from the long-haired appearance we had gotten used to. After that, she would again grow out her hair seeing how there wasn't a necessity to cut it off again. Keeping the hair aside, is Natalie Portman overhyped?
Halsey
When it comes to styling hair, Halsey has a method of adapting to any kind of look, no matter how weird it gets. The singer took to shaving off all of her hair in 2017, and it wouldn't be the only time that she would go bald for a hairstyle.
Her decision for this sudden change stemmed from the thought that she wanted to prove that even if she had no hair, she could still live by herself. It definitely sends a powerful message to her fans! One good sign is that she went back to her roots.
Tom Cruise
The Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise is very popular for his looks. He has been dubbed one of the most handsome men in the world. Of course, his head full of hair had quite a bit to do with making him look as dashing as he always looks.
However, when he had to go bald for the 2002 sci-fi movie Minority Report, we have to admit that he also owned the bald look. Goes to show that Tom Cruise is a man who would look great in just about anything. Although, you wouldn't be able to run your fingers through his hair anymore.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a great actor who has won his fair share of awards, but if the name does not ring a bell, then you might also recognize him as Tom Hansen from the 2009 romantic movie 500 Days of Summer.
Soon after the 2011 movie 50/50 we also saw Joseph with a completely shaved-off head playing a patient with a severe medical condition. Turns out Joseph said in an interview that the head-shaven scene was actually a scene that was improvised. Lesson from 50/50: Do not use another person's razor.
Kate Hudson
From the movie back in 2000, Almost Famous, and the 2003 movie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Kate Hudson is quite popular for being the gorgeous actress that she is and for all the romantic movies that she has been in.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she said she had to shave off for a movie that was directed by Sia back in 2017. She also mentioned that as they were shaving her hair off, she was having a moment of panic. No bad hair day to panic about though!
Prince William
Imagine being a part of the royal family of Great Britain and not having a head full of hair. Prince William was already showing signs of balding from quite early on, and he did not even try to hide it at that point.
The prince then made his debut with a shaved bald head back in 2018. If we are being honest, the look does not really look that bad on him. The bald look actually rather suits him quite well. We wonder what the royal barber gets paid.
Anne Hathaway
A lot of us know the famous Anne Hathaway. Not only is she a great actress, but she was once one of the highest-paid actresses in the world! She even won Oscars for her great performance, and is also a great social activist. She teaches us that if you want an Oscar, you have to be an Oscar first!
As amazing as she is, she decided to shave off her hair for a role in a musical drama movie called Les Misérables. She played the role of Fantine in the movie, and she had to go bald to play the character.
Timothy Olyphant
Timothy Olyphant is a great person who made his debut in the world of acting with an off-Broadway theater back in 1995. We are quite accustomed to seeing Timothy with a head full of luscious hair, but this is a look that is a bit different for him than usual.
Back in 2007, when Timothy had to shave his head and go bald for his role in the Hitman movie, he was actually quite hesitant about going through it. He does not look bad with it at all. His appearance and his head, smooth!
Colin Farrell
The Irish actor Colin Farrell has quite a bit of hair on his head. Moreover, he does look great with his hair, and he has even done a lot of different hairstyles that just make him look amazing.
If you take a look at Colin Farrell back in the early 2000s, then you will likely get a good shock from his head. He had a bald look going with a little goatee as well. This time around, we actually think Colin looks a lot better with hair on his head. Colin Farrell without hair is sin. Period.
Sigourney Weaver
Sigourney Weaver is an actress who is actually quite the influential person when it comes to pop culture and science fiction. A lot of people know her and her work. While we are all really used to seeing Weaver with her head of hair, we are not all familiar with her bald head.
The actress went completely bald and shaved off all her hair for the 1992 horror sci-fi movie Alien 3. If you watched the movie, then there is no way that you could forget Weaver's bald head.
Millie Bobbie Brown
Before she made her appearance as Eleven on the hit series Stranger Things, Millie Bobbie Brown actually had hair on her head. Well, that much is quite obvious, but we do have to say that Brown looks great with her hair on her head.
Even though she played the role of Eleven perfectly, Brown did mention on her Instagram that it was in fact, the most empowering moment in her life when she had made the decision to shave off all her hair for the role. It's cool a pre-teen like Mike didn't mind that she's the bald chick.
Zayn Malik
If you are familiar with the super popular boy band One Direction, then you will definitely recognize Zayn Malik. Over the years of his time with the band, Zayn has tried out many different hairstyles. He had his hair long, short, cropped, just anything you can think of.
However, in September 2017, Zayn decided to go completely bald. He did this because his hair was too damaged from the amount of time he had bleached it, so he had to go bald to save his hair. Go bald. Save lives.
Matthew McConaughey
Many of us remember Matthew McConaughey from many different iconic movies. Even ones such as Interstellar. He is a fantastic actor and is just amazing at what he does. Another thing we remember Matthew with is hair on his beautiful head.
It is just too surprising to see Matthew McConaughey with all of his hair shaved off. Well, he does look quite alright with a bald head, but it is just that it's only alright. He looks a lot better with his hair. There's just something about that head.
Cara DeLevingne
Cara DeLevingne is a beautiful actress. She not only looks stunning, but she also has a great talent for acting. One can tell how seriously she takes her acting career when they find out that DeLevingne went against her own managers and agents and shaved off her hair to play the role of a patient in a movie back in 2017.
DeLevingne even said that she felt that the cut was liberating for her because she wanted to prove that you did not need hair to be pretty. Question is, do bald fashion icons need hats?
Amanda Stenberg
Amanda Stenberg, the singer, and actress who has received a fair number of accolades and also has gotten the Teen Choice Award, is definitely a beautiful lady. She has a beautiful bunch of hair on her head that she is definitely proud of.
Despite having such nice hair, Amanda decided to go bald and shaved off her hair for a role in the movie, Where Hands Touch. After she got her hair balded, she even made jokes about how aerodynamic she is now and that she has achieved top speed. Should've been a swimmer.
Joey King
Joey King definitely has the looks for being an actress and also of course, the nice and luscious hair on her head. One look at her, and you can just tell that she belongs in Hollywood. She might have a beautiful bunch of hair on her head, but when you are someone who is blessed with amazing genetics, you do not need hair on your head to look pretty.
She mentions how every woman should shave at least once. With her strong facial features and her bold eyes, she can pull off looking attractive even without any hair on her head. Can you?
Sanaa Lathan
Sanaa Lathan definitely has a head full of the most gorgeous hair ever. Her hair looks long, wavy, healthy, and full. She definitely went around with that beautiful hair with a lot of confidence.
However, long, full and beautiful hair means a lot of time spent taking care of the hair to make sure it always looks just as pretty. Her main reason for going bald might have been that she realized she would not have bad hair days if she did not have hair in the first place. True that.
Demi Moore
Demi Moore looks really amazing with her beautiful hair, it really highlights her bold facial features. However, there are only a certain number of people who are actually able to pull off the bald head look, and Demi Moore is not one of those people.
In our opinion Moore only looks pretty when she has the light bouncing off of her really soft and shiny hair, not when it is bouncing off her bald head. She should at least try to keep a wig on!
Brianna Hildebrand
Does the name Negasonic Teenage Warhead ring a bell? Well then, how about Aurora? You might have seen Brianna Hildebrand in the popular Netflix series called Lucifer or even in the beloved superhero movie Deadpool.
While Hildebrand mostly keeps her hair on the shorter side anyway, she did go bald to play a role in a movie once. We cannot decide if her bald look is more adorable or badass, but one thing is for sure, she does not look that bad with a bald head. It's a good thing if she had any bald patches.
Danai Gurira
If you are a fan of the horror and drama series The Walking Dead, then you might recognize Danai Gurira as Michonne, or if you are someone who is more into superheroes, then you might also recognize her as Okoye from the Black Panther movie by Marvel.
Either way, hair or no hair, one thing that we have to mention about Gurira is that she has beautiful and spotless skin. While most people are more used to seeing her bald, she actually has quite cute and poofy hair when she grows it out.
Jared Leto
Jared Leto is quite a controversial topic amongst everyone who watches movies. Some people tend to think that he looks really attractive, and some tend to call him a mega creep. Whatever the case, we think that Jared Leto does not do well with the type of hair that he has on his head.
It just looks too long for him and does not suit him at all. He looks a lot better without the hair. A bald head goes with his face and makes him look like a villain straight out of some slasher movie.
Karen Gillan
If you are a fan of Doctor Who, then you might recall seeing Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, the companion to the Eleventh Doctor from the sci-fi series. The beautiful Scottish actress has some of the prettiest hair that we have ever seen. Her long, wavy, and full red hair that covers her head looks absolutely stunning.
She is a great actress with a great sense of humor, who tried pulling off the Nebula look, sans the aggressiveness. She does still look quite alright with her bald head. Mainly because of the amazing smile that she has.
