This Cinderella Themed Motel Room Will Make You Feel Like a Princess

No matter how old you are or what kind of goth-phases you went through in your life, we're sure you tried to picture what life would be like if you were an actual fairytale princess. Well, now you can be. For a few nights, at least. The Roxbury Motel in New York has a few fantasy-themed suites, each inspired by a different story or character, such as Dracula, Wonder Woman and even Cinderella! The latter suite is just the room to make you feel like getting ready for the ball. It is called "Cinderella's Gown" (although the staff just calls it Room 42) and it looks like it really belongs in an enchanted forest somewhere.

The room features all the modern comforts you can find in standard motel rooms. There are two floors to the suite, each has a queen-sized bedroom complete with a personal bathroom, and each designed to a T with elements from the famous story about the girl with the glass slipper. The first-floor bedroom is decorated with a mural of Cinderella's village and includes an actual fireplace, and a huge ball gown hanging from the ceiling for a canopy. (Obviously, there are little birds tying ribbons around it.) The other bedroom on the second floor has a small built-in pumpkin-shaped space for a bathroom. It doesn't get more magical than this. Other features of this fantastical tower suite include a common living room, a small kitchenette, a sweet little balcony, and a sleeper sofa (you know, for your chambermaid, now that you're a princess).

You and up to five of your best friends can get this room for the price of $450-$620 a night. Make sure to book the suite in advance because looking like that, it will probably not stay available for long!
