We adore game nights. It's one of our favorite at-home date nights. It may sound pretty straightforward, but there are so many ways to make the most out of a good game night, open a bottle of wine, buy your favorite cheese to organize a cheese platter, light some candles...and challenge each other to a bet.
Lights Out
Thinking outside of the box is a great idea when it comes to home dates. Though it may seem like somewhat of a buzz-kill, pretending the electricity is out is a cute at-home date night twist. Put away your electronics and make-believe that the electricity went out. How will you entertain yourselves? Well, first of all, light up those candles! Build a fort and cuddle, tell scary stories - using a flashlight for dramatic effect, light a fireplace if you have one, and make some s'mores!
Travel
Last but not least, we have one of our favorite at-home dates and cook a travel-inspired-themed dinner. Pick a country you've wanted to travel to and cook dinner together inspired by their local cuisine. If you need inspiration, we got you covered! Travel to Italy by making homemade pizza or pasta together. Visit Japan as you learn how to make sushi together. Pretend you're in Greece by feasting on some of your favorite Mediterranean appetizers: Greek salad, feta, hummus, olives, and artichoke dip, to name a few! The list goes on and on, and there are so many places to travel and so many cuisines to try! This is one home date night we're sure will turn into a tradition in your home!
