From magnificent Diana Ross to the legendary Jackson five, we have gathered the biggest families we could find. Singers, actors, celebrity chefs — they are all here, together with their huge families.
The Kardashians
Okay, you’re probably sick of hearing about how wealthy and famous these people are, but no list about big celebrity families would be complete without them! Matriarch Kris Jenner cleverly managed her daughters to the top so that each and every one of them is a celebrity with crazy success.
Even her daughters with Caitlyn Jenner have become arguably even more successful! All up, this family has five daughters but simply being a part of the family has its benefits for success.
Marie Osmond
So this lovely singing lady doesn’t only come from a big family — she has a rather large family of her own! She has three biological children and five that have been adopted. What a big heart this family has.
Also, pretty lucky adoptees to be adopted into a celebrity family, right? And in case you were wondering how many Osmond siblings there were, there were nine in total!
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Perhaps one of the most famous and celebrated ex-couples of Hollywood, it’s the Jolie-Pitt clan! The reason we say clan is due to the large number of kids they have — both biological and adopted. Together, the pair have six children. Their eldest, Maddox, is adopted, then there’s Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and their biological twins Knox and Vivienne.
We love this blended family, and though the parents aren’t together anymore, these siblings will have each other for life!
The Kennedy Family
So maybe more political than celebrity here, but we thought the Kennedy family was certainly worth a mention in our list of celebrities with big families. Perhaps the most celebrated of the Kennedy family, former President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK), was the second oldest in the troupe of nine children!
Yep, he had three brothers and five sisters! That number of children makes the mind boggle — and maybe also makes the uteri of those reading this article recoil a little. Just kidding! Or maybe not...
The Wayans
Perhaps a little-known fact — or maybe we were just living under a rock — is that the Wayan family is well…massive! The American family who is rather big in show business includes Chaunté, Damon Sr., Kim, Marlon, Damon Jr., Keenen, and Shawn. The family has had great success with their comedy films and TV shows.
Like, they’re the family behind the Scary Movie franchise, as well as the cult classic "White Chicks". We’re a little floored at the talent in one family, as well as the comedic and creative genius that is shared amongst the family members.
Kirk Cameron
The homegrown American actor and star of Growing Pains, Kirk Thomas Cameron has a not-so-little “secret” — he and his wife Chelsea Noble have six kids together! But while they have six kids, four of those were adopted. Still, including the parents, that’s eight mouths to feed. Also six colleges and six college fees for their bubs.
Seriously, you gotta think about these things, they’re only cute for so long! But we love that their love for over thirty years has blossomed. You may wonder why they adopted first — and it’s because Chelsea herself was adopted as a kid! Naw!
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott
These two celebs have been married since 2006, and since then, they’ve welcomed five kids into their life! McDermott also has a son, Jack, from his first marriage, but Tori and Dean have five biological children together.
While it seems like a pretty picture and a big celebrity family, there were some hints of trouble in paradise due to McDermott’s busy work schedule. We hope they can work it out!
Cyrus Family
So sure, Miley Cyrus is probably the best known of the Cyrus clan — unless you’re a little older and have eyes only for Billy Ray (no judgment) — but did you know that she’s actually got a few siblings? Tish Cyrus, the family’s matriarch has three kids with Billy Ray (Miley, Braison, and Noah) — Trace and Brandi were born before she married the country singer.
And as if you needed another reason to love Billy Ray, just know that the darling adopted both of the kids into their family when he married Tish. Ahhh!
Stevie Wonder
The hitmaker and musical legend is well known for his big tracks and big presence, but did you know he is quite a family man too? Prolific in music, and prolific in well…uh…having kids! The “Superstition” singer has a total of nine (yes, nine) children with five different women. Wow! Also dang…apparently “till death do us part” didn’t stick with the soulful musician.
You might think that Wonder would’ve stopped having kids in his 40s or maybe 50s, but he definitely is a wonder — having a baby girl, Nia, in 2014 with his girlfriend Tomeeka. At the time, Wonder was 64!
Elon Musk
So you might know of the somewhat elusive and controversial Musk and his Tesla billions, but do you know much about his family? Musk has six children — Nevada, twins Griffin and Xavier, and TRIPLETS Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Of course, the hype is really all about his latest baby, X Æ A-Xii. In fact, it's likely you didn't even know he had other kids.
If anyone can afford to put all of those kids through school and college, it’s definitely Musk! And at 50 years of age, he might still have more kids to add to the six!
The Baldwins
The Baldwin genes must just have an extra splash of special and fabulous in them eh? Well, at least for some of them. We’re not even talking about Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber), we’re talking about Alec and Hilaria, and their brood of six! The pair got hitched in 2012, and have since welcomed six little ones!
But Alec doesn’t just have six, he has seven kids — we can’t forget Ireland Baldwin, whom he had with his first wife Kim Basinger.
Jacksons
Well, we bet y’all were expecting this next family to come up, right? They are, after all, known as the Jackson 5. But undoubtedly the most famous Jackson, Michael, actually had seven siblings! He was one of the babies of the family, alongside his also famous sister Janet, and together they had six older brothers and sisters.
Talk about talent running right through the genes of the family though — honestly, it’s pretty incredible just at the amount of success this family had. Sure, it had its drama and scrutiny, but along with it, great success.
Sylvester Stallone
Ah yes, enter the Italian stallion, Sylvester Stallone! Affectionately nicknamed “Sly”, the star of Rocky and many other action films, has six kids, four of which are daughters! Talk about a lot of women to have in a household... We can only imagine the conversations prospective partners of his daughters have had with Stallone.
The action star has been married three times, with his first marriage to Sasha Czack resulting in two boys — Sage (who sadly passed away in 2012) and Seargeoh.
Terry Crews
One of the most loveable celebrities is up next — and just as much as he is a big human being, he also has a family of a similar size! An actor, media personality, and a former footballer — he has five kids with his non-celeb wife, Rebecca King.
One of his bigger gigs was hosting “America’s Got Talent” — a nice family-friendly show that he can invite the whole family to attend! But yeah, five kids over thirty years of marriage, that’s pretty impressive!
Lauryn Hill
Lauryn Hill is a name that makes people get goosebumps — her voice and rapping ability are just a cut above the rest. Something else that’s quite amazing about her — the fact that she’s got six kids! The New Jersey-born singer was married to the son of Bob Marley, Rohan, with whom she had her kids Zion, Michal, Selah, Joshua Omaru, Sarah, and John.
When in her 40s, the singer became a grandmother, with her eldest, Zion, welcoming his first child, Zephaniah Nesta.
Kevin Costner
The actor and filmmaker makes our list because…well he’s got seven kids! The famed actor enjoys doting on his kids and he loves having a blended family! He has three daughters — Annie, Lily, and Grace — and four sons — Joe, Liam, Cayden, and Hayes. But they’re not all from the same mother. He’s had three relationships over the course of his life.
The crazy part (but also the kinda nice part) is that there’s an almost 30 year age gap between his eldest and youngest child! But hey, those little kids would get a lot of love and older sibling advice, right?
Wahlberg Family
This is a two-pronged situation — not only are the Wahlberg family many and also famous, but they also have their own large families. Mark Wahlberg has four kids and no less than nine siblings! Talk about wild!
The esteemed actor/action-man (as well as, let’s face it, former boyband member) boasts a busy day every day which starts at 4 am (though it might be earlier, we don’t know anymore). He's also worth a whopping $300 million! But yeah, nine siblings — that’s a heck of a lot of kids — and just two of them are women!
Eddie Murphy
One of our favorite comedians and actors of all time is Eddie Murphy. Sure, he’ll leave a legacy of his films and stand-up routines, but there’s another legacy that he’ll leave behind one day: his many children. He’s got 10! And he’s got a huge age gap between his youngest and eldest — at one point his youngest was 2 and his eldest was 31!
Also, a fun fact: one of his kids was with former Spice Girl, Mel B. In fact, he pays around $25,000 a month in child support for Angel Iris, who was the result of a brief fling.
Steven Spielberg
The iconic film director, producer, and screenwriter has brought so many amazing stories to life. He’s a real star and a hard-hitter in Hollywood. But as well as bringing stories to life, he’s also helped bring children into the world — seven of them! He has six biological kids and one adopted, Mikaela, who was adopted in 1996.
The director, who is worth $3.7 billion, has been married twice — to Amy Irving and later, Kate Capshaw. The Fort Worth-born actress has two children from other relationships and three biological children with the director, and Mikaela, whom they adopted together.
Clint Eastwood
The veteran of the screen, Clint Eastwood is definitely getting on in age — he’s in his 90s! And as well as a prolific film and directorial career, he also has a number of children — he has eight in fact! He’s been married twice, first to Maggie Johnson for over 30 years, and then two Dinah Eastwood, with whom he split, in 2014.
With Maggie, he had two kids. During his marriage, he had a number of affairs, which resulted in two more children. He then had a couple more with a flight attendant. After that, he had a few more kids. Sorry, there’s a lot in there.
Celine Dion
The otherworldly songstress has three kids of her own which she raises alone (due to her husband’s passing), but we bet you didn’t know that her mother had 14 children! Yep, 14! That’s just whacky. When you think seven is a lot…then double that. Yikes! Not to mention the fact that they’re all talented and successful!
Her elder brothers, Michel and Jacques both sing, as well as some of her other siblings. But many of them are very successful in their own right. One of them even owns a golf course!
Mia Farrow
The former wife of Frank Sinatra and Andre Previn has a whopping fourteen kids! Four biological, ten adopted. However, there was some scandal with this big family due to some shady circumstances surrounding the deaths of three of the kids — Tam Farrow, Lark Previn, and Thaddeus Farrow.
In a statement, Farrow said: “I am grateful to be the mother of fourteen children who have blessed me with sixteen grandchildren. Although we have known sorrow, our lives today are full of love and joy.”
Jude Law
The English heartthrob actor doesn’t have many siblings (just one, Natasha Law), but he has certainly made up for it in having kids of his own! He has six kids altogether, after welcoming his sixth child with his wife Philippa Coan, whom he married in 2019.
His eldest, whom he shares with ex-wife Sadie Frost, is Rafferty, who also has siblings — Iris and Rudy. He then fathered a child with Samantha Burke, (Sophia), and then another with Catherine Harding (baby Ada). He’s a busy man, alright!
The Beckhams
On the other side of the pond, we have one of the biggest families in the United Kingdom — the Beckhams! Headed by ex-footballer David Beckham and former Spice Girl-turned-fashion-designer Victoria Beckham, the pair have four kids together.
After they wed in 1999 (anyone recalls the thrones they sat on at their bridal reception?), they welcomed Brooklyn Beckham, before also welcoming Romeo, Cruz, and finally their little girl, Harper. We’re sure these kids will live a very luxe, very blessed life, and without too much bad press!
Diana Ross
So Diana Ross, the legend, the lady, the out-of-this-world songstress, not only has five kids of her own, but she also hails from a large family herself! Now in her 70s, Ross was born into a family of eight, with seven other siblings! Her three eldest daughters are from her marriage to Robert Ellis Silberstein, with her other two from her second marriage to Arne Naess Jr.
What we love to hear, though, is that her kids applaud her for stepping away from fame to raise them and ensure they had a good upbringing. Preach.
Chris O’Donnell
So this man’s big family is all down to his priorities in life. He wanted a big family (he has five!), not necessarily a big film career. And all we say to that is: you do you boo! You probably remember his face from Batman & Robin and also from his role as D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers.
The actor himself grew up in a family of seven kids, so maybe he enjoyed growing up that way and wanted the same for his own kids one day! After his role in Scent of a Woman, he was offered the big buck films but turned it down in order to start his family.
Sean Combs
Puff Daddy himself is, well, a daddy to six kids! Five of which are his own biological kids, and one is a stepchild. He has a number of ‘baby mamas’, whom he had his five kids with.
Three women charmed Diddy, including ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman, and the late Kim Porter. The pair had three kids together.
Mick Jagger
A big family for a really, really big rockstar! The iconic frontman of English rock band The Rolling Stones for over sixty years, it’s no surprise that the veteran rocker has a number of kids! The singer has eight kids and a blended family. The crazy part: he had his first kid in 1970 and his youngest in 2016!
Adding to those kids, he has 5 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids! If you’re curious, Jagger’s youngest bub, Deveraux Jagger, is the son of ballerina Melanie Hamrick, with whom Jagger has been in a relationship since 2014.
Bruce Willis
Ah, Bruce Willis. The man, the myth, the most beautiful bald head in Hollywood. Okay sure, The Rock fans would disagree, but still, he at least gets a spot on the podium! The German-born American actor has five kids of his own, three with his first wife, Demi Moore, and two with second wife, Emma Heming Willis, whom he married in 2009. He just always looks like such a happy guy when he’s surrounded by family.
The best part is that the actor has all daughters! You can imagine the prospective partners knocking timidly on his front door, eh?
Natalia Vodianova
Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova, whose nickname is Supernova, is not only a fashion model and UN Goodwill Ambassador, but she’s also a super mom! The beauty is a mother to five kids, whom she shares with two husbands — Justin Portman and Antoine Arnault (yes, as in, CEO of Berluti and Loro Piana Arnault).
Vodianova makes our list due to her celeb status and her rather large family — and who knows, the lady is still young, and may even have another child on the cards one day!
The Sheen family
So this family may not be as big as some of the others on our list, but they definitely are packing a celebrity punch! Martin Sheen, who was born Ramon Antonio Gerardo Estévez, is the patriarch of the Sheen clan. He himself had four kids, two of which reached great fame — Charlie and Emilio!
But Charlie is a popular name these days with the press with his five kids — and the current child support ruling where he no longer has to pay child support to his ex-wife Denise Richards. But Charlie, it’s for the kids!
Madonna
The pop icon and 80s legend not only has a slew of hits to celebrate but she also has six kids! The influential musician has Lourdes, Rocco, David, Estere, Stelle, and Mercy. Like most moms, she takes to the 'gram regularly to share her blended family.
Madonna had her kids with fitness trainer Carlos Leon (Lourdes’ dad), director Guy Ritchie, and then adopted David Banda, Mercy James as well as twins Stella and Estere in 2017. Pretty adorable.
Mel Gibson
Talk about a lot of kids! Mel Gibson, the Peekskill New York-born actor and AO (yep, he was awarded the Order of Australia) comes from a big family himself! Mel was the sixth born of a brood of eleven children and was raised in the USA until the start of the Vietnam war.
At the time, his father Hutton decided to relocate to Australia so that his kids wouldn’t get drafted. Mel was 12 at the time. He then went on to act in and direct a number of classic films, including Braveheart, Mad Max, and The Passion of the Christ. And as for Mel, well he’s got nine kids of his own!
Bill Murray
Let’s hear it for the boy(s)! Talk about a man-making machine, the actor, comedian and writer is father to six sons! His sons, Luke, Homer, Cal, Lincoln, Jackson, and Cooper are the result of his marriages to Jennifer Butler and Margaret Kelly.
In fact, one of his sons is a celebrity in his own right — son Homer Murray is a renowned celeb chef! Pretty cool, huh? His restaurant is 21 Greenpoint, in Brooklyn, New York.
Dolly Parton
We just love ourselves for some of Dolly Parton! What a voice, and what a show-woman! But slight plot twist here — the famed singer and her husband Carl Dean don’t have any kids together. However, the 5’0 starlet hails from a family of 12. She’s got, eleven brothers and sisters!
By the time her mother was 35, she had twelve kids. That is absolutely wild, right? Imagine having that many babies. But it would sure be a lot of fun…
The Hansons
Remember that one-hit wonder, “Mmm Bop”? Well, the brothers that brought you that incredibly catchy tune have a number of kids between them! Wondering exactly how many? Thirteen! Yep, the three brothers who spend a lot of time together touring and in the studio and just…well, close to one another, have also made it a priority for their families to all be close and get along. Wholesome.
Taylor, the middle Hanson, has six kids, while Zac, the youngest, has four of his own. The eldest has three kids.
George Foreman
Knock out that…fat! Sure, you will have seen or heard that slogan for his famous grill, but we’re not here to talk about left hooks, right hooks, or calorie-melting grillers. We’re here to talk about his family! He’s got 12, that’s right, twelve little ones!
But we wonder how some of his kids feel — five of them are named George Foreman, with roman numerals the only distinguishing feature in their names! He’s even named one of his daughters Georgetta. What a name.
Ginuwine
The singer of the renowned baby-making song, “Pony” (there’s just something about that baseline, right?), also has a few babies of his own! The singer has a total of nine children! Two of his kids are stepchildren, on account of the fact that they were his wife’s kids from a previous marriage.
He must be a busy man with nine kids though, ensuring that he pays each of them enough attention and gives them time too! There was some controversy after a slew of messages came out from his daughter Tiffany. Hopefully, they worked things out.
Lena Perminova
The wife of Russian media mogul Alexander Lebedev is a beauty who had a tricky start in life. But 20 years later she’s got a big family and a modeling career under her belt. She’s one of the more famous celebrity influencers in Russia, with over two million followers.
In 2021, she gave birth to her fourth child. And being 27 years younger than her husband, there’s definitely the possibility of more kids in the future!
Jamie Oliver
Celebrity chef and TV personality Jamie Oliver just seems like a genuine, down-to-earth guy. He and his wife Jools have five lovely bubs together — Daisy Boo, Buddy Bear, Petal Blossom, River, and Poppy Honey.
Now that we’re reading those names they kinda sound like they were picked from a children’s book. Just seems like a wholesome family that has only ever known good food!
Rod Stewart
The famous crooner and the man who gave us the famous “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” has an over-50-year-old daughter! All in all, he’s got eight kids, whom he had with four different women.
Talk about the rock and roll celebrity life, right? He now lives happily with his third wife, Penny Lancaster, with whom he has two children.
The Braxtons
You may be familiar with the quintet “The Braxtons” which includes the famous smooth-soulful tones of Toni Braxton and her sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar. We guess their parents just chose “T” and thought up names that fit the bill!
This big family is also amazingly talented — the ladies are known for their sensational harmonies, which may be due to the fact they’re all related and just know what sounds good. Toni is now in her 50s, with her sisters close by in age.
Gordon Ramsay
One of our favorite celebrity chefs and TV personalities, Gordon Ramsay doesn’t only have a number of high-performing restaurants and book deals, he’s also got a large family! The famously irreverent chef who tells it like it is has four kids — Matilda, Jack, Megan, and Holly.
Sometimes they even make appearances on his shows and Youtube videos, which is always lovely to see. It seems that they’re the only ones who can really critique him without him flying off the handle! But we all know deep down he’s a softie at heart.
Keke Wyatt
“Keke, do you love me?” Remember that lyric? Well, it’s about the R&B singer Keke Wyatt. The talented songstress, who’s got some mad pipes, also has a crazy amount of children! But hey, as long as there’s enough love to go around, who cares, right? The singer has three baby daddies and a total of ten kids!
She gave birth to her tenth child at 38 years of age. Named Ke’Riah Darring. But she has eight of her children with ex-husband Michael Ford. That’s a staggering amount of children, particularly by one father!
The Marleys
Famed Reggae artist and an all-around philosopher on life, Bob Marley not only had a massive influence on popular culture, but he also left a large legacy behind by way of children! The artist had eleven “acknowledged” children with seven different women.
And to think he accomplished all of that before passing away at a relatively young age is pretty wild! Apparently, he actually had twelve kids, but only eleven were given credit on his website. Interesting.
Conan O’Brien
The late-night host is famous for his show, but did you know that he also has a pretty big family? The host and comedian has three brothers and two sisters! It seems that not many followed the television route, but rather stuck to the family business — two of his brothers are lawyers, just like their mother was!
While his brothers shied away from showbiz, his sister Kate is a credited actor — she debuted in the film “The Fighter” back in 2010! As for Conan’s own family, he’s got two kids of his own, Neve and Beckett. Bless.
Bing Crosby
The American crooner and heartthrob at the time, Bing Crosby gets a mention on our list due to his seven kids! He had his brood with two different women over the course of his life. His first wife, Dixie Lee sadly passed away, however, she left behind four sons — Gary, Dennis, Phillip, and Lindsay.
He re-married Kathryn Grant, who was thirty years younger than him, and the pair had three kids together.
The Hilfigers
The Hilfiger family, which, of course, is behind the Tommy Hilfiger brand. The famed American fashion designer of his eponymous label has five kids, who are all probably very well dressed! Also, fun fact: did you know Hilfiger is 5’6”? We definitely didn’t!
Anywho, the designer is father to Richard, Ally, Sebastian, Kathleen, and Elizabeth, who will undoubtedly take over the family business one day!
Jack White
You may not know this but Jack White, musician, singer, and lead of The White Stripes, was the seventh SON out of a total of 9 kids (two girls)! Seems wild that some families were having so many kids — but then again, that was in the 70s!
Pretty cool to have a big family, but also probably more difficult to find a way to stand out. That being said, in an interview with Australian media, White agreed that growing up in that environment can make you a better collaborator.
